Why We Farm
We farm for our family and community. It all started with a vision like everyone else. To be sustainable and offer the freshest and highest quality of nutrition that growing your own food could provide. So in 2017, when I got the news that my wife Michele was pregnant, daddy nesting began. I worked to create a small vegetable garden to help provide her and my future son, the healthiest regenerative food I could grow for them. Upon completion of the garden and seeing the abundance that came from that garden, I realized that more people near me needed what we were growing. So, it was with that, our journey into market gardening began. Microledon Farm was born.

“New to farming, but loving every moment”. Oscar is the founder and operator of Microledon Farm. Farming is in his soul and DNA. A generation skipped, he found his way back to his roots. Self taught through many resources and a whole lot of short comings, life and the farm have taught him a valuable lesson…stop, breathe and learn from your mistakes.
